AMCA worked closely with the owners of Higgie’s Pet Mercantile to design an interior with distinctive identity and charm. Inspired by the atmosphere of a specialty café and the timeless character of early 20th-century general stores, the space features animated retail displays, finely detailed millwork, and even a counter serving ice cream for canine companions. Tall ceilings are accentuated with vertical shelving and low-hanging lighting, giving the store a crafted quality that feels fresh and uplifting.

AMCA is now developing the design for a future addition to the store, continuing the collaboration with Higgie’s to expand their unique vision.
