For the Qathet Learning Lab, AMCA developed a schematic design and feasibility study exploring the renovation of School District 47's administrative building in Powell River. The study assessed opportunities for seismic and energy upgrades, improvements to the administrative offices, and the conversion of the lower level into a dedicated after-school learning space.

Central to the proposed renovation was a prominent new entrance, designed to give the building a renewed architectural identity while serving both the administrative offices and learning program. Framed by warm wood cladding, the colourful, recessed entryway would create a welcoming and clearly defined point of arrival.
