The addition to Wellington Secondary School in Nanaimo, BC, introduces six new classrooms within a two-storey modular building. A continuous covered walkway connects the addition to the existing school and band room, providing a sheltered pedestrian route through the campus.

The design features a simple, contemporary form with a restrained palette of exterior finishes and subtle colour accents. The covered walkway extends across the building frontage, while a coordinated paving design guides circulation and defines the surrounding outdoor spaces.
